Bowling
Bowling is a sport in which a player rolls or throws a bowling ball towards a target. Being one of the major forms of throwing sports, it is widely renown across the world, with associations such as the PBA (professional bowling association, founded in 1958) supporting it. Locally, Bowling has an extremely large following in Cyprus, with the dedicated Cyprus Bowling federation in charge. Many sub groups such as the Nicosia Bowling association and the Limassol Bowling association continue the large culture that has amassed, supporting Cypriot applicants in international events.
